About Kirsty

Kirsty is the founder of SquiggleSpace, an ADHD coach and sensory needs assessor who is passionate about helping children, young people, and families understand and embrace their unique brains.

Her journey began long before SquiggleSpace existed — as a mum to four neurodiverse children and someone who was diagnosed with ADHD in adulthood, Kirsty has lived both sides of the experience. She knows what it’s like to search for answers, to feel misunderstood, and to want the best possible support for your child. That personal journey sparked a deep commitment to learn, study, and train in everything she could around ADHD, behaviour, sensory processing, and neurodevelopment.

Having worked in both mainstream and specialist education settings, from Nursery through to school leaver age, Kirsty brings a wealth of understanding to her coaching practice. Her approach is grounded in empathy, evidence, and real-life experience — helping families move from overwhelm and frustration to clarity, confidence, and connection.

Through SquiggleSpace, Kirsty offers ADHD coaching sessions designed to empower young people and their families to better understand themselves, build self-awareness, and develop practical strategies that make everyday life easier. Alongside this, her background as a sensory needs assessor adds a unique depth to her understanding of how sensory processing impacts learning, emotions, and behaviour.

Kirsty is also the author of My Brain, My Space — a workbook created for young people to explore their neurodivergent minds, build self-awareness, and celebrate who they are. It’s full of reflection, education, and activities designed to make self-understanding an empowering process.

At the heart of SquiggleSpace is a focus on delivering professional, compassionate, and empowering support that enables neurodivergent individuals to thrive.
